What is chilcuague?

Chilcuague is the root of Heliopsis longipes, a wild plant from the mountains of Central Mexico. The name comes from the Nahuatl chilcoatl, which means spicy snake, and in Mexican markets it's also sold as raíz de oro, the golden root. Dragon Breath is that root, extracted and bottled as a spray.

What does it taste like?

Earthy and a little peppery for a second. Then the tingle takes over, and that's what you'll remember.

How do I use it?

Spray into your mouth. Start with one spray the first time. Once you know the feeling, up to five sprays hits the sweet spot.

What if I don't feel anything?
